Update:

09/23/06:  Been really busy, but now we're going to make it a priority to try and keep this page updated.  Finally updated a bunch of pictures from the camera, so now I'm resizing them and making them web friendly (so they come up a respectable size instead of consuming the entire screen and having to scroll around to see the whole thing).  Haven't heard much from anybody as far as ideas and such, just that it hasn't been updated in a while.  So here I sit, Peggy trying to get Bruce to sleep, and I'm sitting here, probably all night, so I can please those who actually do look at the site and check back.  Other than that.  We bought a new (new to us) truck August 17th.  Bought a 2001 Ford F150 SuperCrew 4x4.  LOTS of room inside.  Dark blue.  Will probably put some pictures on here if I can ever get time to wash it up and take some.  Working 3rd shift now (12am-8am EDT), really having a hard time adjusting to a new schedule.  For those who didn't know, Peggy is staying at home raising Bruce now, she left Menard's a couple months ago.  She's struggling with the whole idea of not bringing any money in, but we're managing on my paycheck.  Maybe someday she'll find a part-time job somewhere closer to home, but till then, we'll be alright.

Okay, I just have to say, BANK BUYOUTS/TRANSFERS SUCK!!!  The branch where I bank was sold along with 2 other branches and they just transferred control over to the new bank, and they've got everything so screwed up right now.  I do know one thing, I will definitely be closing that account and opening a new one at Taper Lock.  It might be a little further away, but credit unions are usually more stable and don't change hands all the time.  Plus both our vehicle loans are through there, so it just makes sense.

Gas prices seem to keep dropping steadily.  About time for some more unrest over-seas to raise the price back up.  I'm sure Big Oil isn't very happy about it.

And for God's sake:  BE MORE CAUTIOUS OUT THERE ON THE ROAD!!!  What's the matter with people out there today.  Everybody seems to be taking driving for granted.  Do people not realize how dangerous a vehicle is?  Do they think they're indestructible inside their precious little sports car or big ol' truck?  People need to wake up and pay attention.  Not long after 4 people were killed on the toll road cause some truck driver wasn't paying any attention, I left work one morning to see a car on the highway all smashed up just before getting to the railroad tracks.  Sure enough, a semi stopped for the railroad crossing and that guy in the little white car wasn't paying a darn bit of attention and WHAM!!!!  He died.  Nobody is immortal.  You're not safe anywhere, in anything.  So WAKE UP and PAY ATTENTION!  Look before you cross lanes.  Take an extra couple seconds to go ahead and let that idiot go first.  When I was young, my dad and I were sitting in the car waiting to cross the highway and I said "you can make it".  He just said "I'll wait, I'm in no hurry to die."  Are YOU in a hurry to DIE???  I didn't think so.  So take some time to stop and smell the roses.  Enjoy life a little bit.  Take a minute to stop and think of those things that REALLY make you happy.  Think of all the things you've HAD to have.  Now stop and think of where those things are and how important they are to you now.  I know what makes me happy.  I see the 2 biggest things that make me happy every day.  I call them Peggy and Bruce.  My family makes me happy (well, most of the time).  Even as much as we may all disagree and fight and bicker at each other, one day, they'll all be gone.  You'll be gone.  I'll be gone.  Then what?  I don't know, but I do know that you never really know what you've got till it's gone.  We all take things for granted.  I do.  You do.  STOP IT!!!  There are people out there that work a lot of hours to make more money to provide a better life for their family, but don't realize that their family would be better off with a meager life and having them in their life.  Don't be one of those people.  Don't work so much to make a "better" life for your family and then not even really know who they are.  They're more than just the people who's house you sleep at.  They're the people that matter most to you.  Enjoy your time with them.  You never know when it might be cut short.  See Dick.  Dick has a wife and 2 children.  See Dick work 12 hours a day 7 days a week.  See Dick spend an hour on the road every day traveling back and forth to work.  See Dick sleep 8 hours.  See Dick eat, sleep, and watch TV the other 3 hours.    See Dick get hit by a drunk driver.  See Dick die at the scene.  Now did you See Dick spend any time with his family?  Don't be a Dick!  And don't drink and drive!  That's just retarded!

Anyway.  I think I rambled enough for one day.  Time to get to work on those pictures.  Our anniversary is coming up next month and I'm hoping to get a chance to update it with a little something special before then.  So stay tuned.  Thanks for listening to me ramble.  And we'll see you all soon.  Hopefully.

09/24/06:  Got a bunch of new pics up.  Hope you all like them.  Been going through them trying to find some of the best ones.  Again, anybody have any ideas, please share them.  See ya all later.  I gotta get to bed!  It's 3:00 am!!!
